28-3-2008 according to play.com which is UK based so prob earlier for you lot in America.

good catch. i got my ps3 back in Nov 2006, my wife had to kill a small child for it but she got me one and i still only have 2 games, my first game was ridge racer 7 then i got the godfather. i'm very pleased with both but i'm dying for GT5. Notice i said 5 this time

i downloaded the gt5rologue demo off the japanese psn website. so far it's pretty enjoyable. i believe there were only 3, maybe 4, cars to drive at the moment, but there were also 3 unlocked cars. of the unlocked cars, one was a lexus and the other 2 were hidden under a blue sheet and red sheet... one of those has to be the new nissan gt-r. i believe both these cars are to be unveiled to GT5 demo users during the tokyo auto show

one thing i noticed that was somewhat different from previous GT games was the braking... it seems when you hit the brakes, the camera zooms in. it's sort of hard to explain.

anyway, if anyone wants to try out the demo you unfortunately have to create a japanese psn account. it didn't take that long to register, but the download took quite a long time for me (at least over 2 hours).

www.japanesepsn.com is a nice guide to creating a japanese psn account since i'm oblivious to the japanese language.

edit: just went onto the gt5 demo... they unveiled the car under the red sheet and it was a nissan gt-r. hopefully ill be able to drive it

editedit: the one under the blue sheet was subaru wrx sti.. not sure if its some sort of special sti though
