New to the Guvernment

HI,

I recently moved back to Canada from west Palm Beach and I'm going to check out the guvernment for the first time soon. Being a noob(and finally of "legal age") is there anything I should watch out for there? What is the demographic of most of the people there (asian, black etc..)? And what is the best night to go?

Any info would be great, I'm dying to go as I have moved back to the armpit of Ontario (Quinte region) and the whole canadian redneck scene that exists here needs to be escaped for a night....

Cheers,

There's a strict "no cyclist chap" policy.

I'm in stinky Belleville too. Been trying to leave for a long time.

Saturday night is the best night to go to Guvernment.

Call 416-Taxicab for your latest guvernment taxi readings. Ask for Jenners at the front desk...or Ebony.

its more like 20% white and 20% other these days. but 60% asian sounds about right

Yeah only go to the Guv on saturdays, unless you want to listen to rap because they have that on friday night.

Gallery always seems to be a good place to go for good house music.

The Drink is a little more upper-class, and less sketch.

Main room has a wide variety of people, including 60 year old asian men.

Overall the crowd isnt overly bad, fair bit of normal people, fair bit of sketch bags, not a huge gay crowd (at least from my experiences....

but year overall the crowd is mostly white and asian, but theres also a little bit of everything, including Arabs, brown people, a few black people.....

I was lucky and stayed in Wellington for 7 months, always Thursday and Sunday nights at the Player's club. I ride Dressage.

Hey, finally some good info, thank you. It's not as if I'm looking for an exact age of the people going but rather a rough idea

Yeah Belleville is the King of Blue Collar workers, no fun at all. I moved back for a bit just to touch base with my family.

Anywhere good to go to in Bellevegas these days?

The best thing there is Matt & Joe's where you might get a a half hour or 45 minutes of house total on a thursday/saturday night. I dj'd there for over 2 years. Every club there is top 40. If you want more house. Try Stages (currently on hiatus from saturday nights there) or Joy Supper Club in Kingston. Stages is almost all house on Sat and JSC is all house on at least fridays.

Ah Matt and Joes... So much drunken shenanigans, along with Little Texas. Does that place still exist?

Belleville was not a good place to get drunk lol

Yeah.. LTs is still alive and kicking. It's actually starting to take over MJ's in terms of crowd. They moved into a bigger building across the street less than a year ago which seems to be working out well for them.
