I have this feeling that Alonso is going to try something desperate. He has not been very gracious being behind Hamilton this year. He must accept the fact that Hamilton has more talent than he does and just race the car. I'm hoping for Kimi, but unless something dramatic happens then the Championship should end in the order it's in.

Agreed....

If I was Lewis Hamilton, I'd keep an eye out...The Toronto Star wrote an interesting article in the Wheels section about a certain potential scenario...one that has Lewis "taken out" of the race

I hope thats not the case BUT either way its gonna be a nail biter

i already have this programmed on the TV at work, can't wait !

i am a DIE HARD MCLAREN MERCEDES FAN, i was fucking proud as hell when i saw Mika standing in the garage too...but being such a huge fan, theres an underlying cause why i want either alonso or hamilton to win tomorrow...the title of course...

this will help me recover from my team being stripped of all points, and although geeky, being an avid mercedes model colector, if the champion is in fact a mercedes driver tomorrow, i'll be happy i can make a spot in my display for the 2007 driver champion, as i there wont be one for the 2007 constructor champion

Something similar happened in '86 I think, at Suzuka. Prost & Senna were within a few points of eachother and all Senna had to do to win the championship was finish ahead of Prost. Senna, before the race, says he'll take out Prost into the first corner (they were 1 & 2 on the grid). Nobody believed him. They hit in the first corner, and both go off. Senna wins the championship.

I can't see Alonso having the balls to do that himself since it wouldn't help him in any way, nor would he ever race again.

I think it will be a great race, with the last set of tires being crucial. The new surface is very hot and abrasive and the super soft tires only last about 5-7 laps. Everyone will be nursing the two sets of hard tires as long as they can.

I hope Hamilton wins. If not him, then Kimi. I agree with what Patrick Head (Willams) has been saying about Alonso's less than sporting attitude this year.

WoW.

Really surprised with that result. It was his championship to lose, and he dd!

But good job to all them!

Great result to a great season. 3 drivers within as many points doesn't get much better.

yoohooo! Ferarri for the win!

fuckin ferrari yo!

after china i just knew that kimi would pull a miracle out of his bag of tricks and take the championship. he deserves it more then anyone this year, bravo to the ice man

the title is in question....BMW Sauber and Williams Toyota were using illegal fuel in their vehicles, and may be excluded from the event, if so, hamilton's finishing position would be 4th, and he wins the title, not the most honourable way to win but i have my fingers crossed...

Roffles. If it happens, it'll be the most bizarre championship win in F1 history. Think about it: rookie driver on a team that was banned from the constructors' championship for cheating wins because other teams cheated.
