Underground 2008

Underground 2008 is the latest CD from Ministry Of Sound. Instead of focusing on chart dance hits, this is a celebration of the edgier sound that has developed over the last year or so, combining elements of house, techno, electro and minimal styles. These are the tracks that have stood out from the crowd to prove the genuine dancefloor destroyers so youve got the likes of Claude Vonstroke, Trevor Loveys & Sinden, Martin Buttrich and ZZT.

They got the title wrong, shouldn't it be Jumping The Bandwagon 2008.

You just like getting drunk and playing air-accordian to Heater.

Worn out tracks for these cd's is an understatement. Supposedly the big ones we should be looking out for in 2008 too...

Certainly going to make me ahead of the game!

Aside from the ones that have appeared on practically every second MOS compilation this summer (Get Dumb, Umbrella, Heater), it looks like they just took a look at Resident Advisor's hit list and randomly grabbed a bunch.

Anything on MOS is most definitely NOT underground. What a lame attempt

I hope they have an unmixed version so I can play all these super underground ch00ns!

Thought myself that it is always a risk to sell a CD as being underground, thanks for your opinions on this guys - don't suppose anyone has had a go at the competiotion then?

MOS compliations are utter gash. Not gonna win many choice votes here.

Just the title alone makes me wanna fart blood.

Well, thanks for letting me know what you think in your inimitable style!

guilty as charged

To call a compilation underground and the content deemed to be on the major floors in 2008 is quite a contradicion.

Thats why you don't sell it as underground. It just is.

Competition? You mean like actual good mix CDs?
