Isn't the point here to showcase the usability and the quality of the phones rather than present them as an alternative to actual decks or CDJ's?
I didn't see anyone saying that this was the wave of the future. It's just a promotional tactic to get people thinking differently about their handsets.

No different than two MP3 players, which is what those phones are... and thats been done millions of times.

I definitely don't see the value in CDJ's... they are really no different than building "MP3J's". In my opinion, CDJ's are just a stopover on the way to that - but because of the incredible amount of money invested in them, that stopover will take wayyyy longer than it should
Vinyl is different altogether.
