YOUR DJ "poll"

I completely agree with the DJ MAG poll and all others being complete garbage and all but I'm just getting tired of the same post over and over again. So let's just let our feelings out and post what YOUR DJ top 20 (or however far you want to go)"poll" or whatever would look like if we were in control, BASED ON SKILL in the art of DJING, shall we?

Mine:

1. James Zabiela
2. Danny Howells
3. James Holden
4. Sasha
5. Paolo Mojo
6. Luke Fair
7. Funk D'Void
8. Anthony Pappa
9. John Digweed
10. Sven Vath
11. Hernan Cattaneo
12. Nic Fanciulli
13. Lee Burridge
14. Derrick May
15. Ricardo Villalobos
16. Carl Cox
17. Armand Van Helden (heard a recent set of his, I was pretty impressed)

Galen Behr
Jon O' Bir
Manuel le Saux
Ferry Tayle
Darren Tate
Sean tyas sometimes..
Markus Schulz
Above&Beyond
Chris Hampshire
Ronski Speed
Menno de Jong
(sometimes AvB)

(in no particular order)

They deserve to stay at the top positions instead of pvd, ferry, tiesto, and the same old boring name....they'll stay at the top since people think "Oh my God! He was God for a longtime, so I'm keeping up with voting him nowadays even if he's spinning the best garbage!!! "

Anyway....think it's also important to split into the main 2 or 3 electronic genres like techno (with all its sub-genres), trance ( same) and house (progressive, deep, tribal ecc ecc).

It's impossible and unuseful to list a chart with djs from trance, drum 'n'n bass, house, techno, hardcore .... what's the sense in that???

Jeff Mills can spin with 6 decks!!! That's awesome!!! But Ferry Tayle spins some gorgeous "ohmygodwowowowoooo" chooons so who's better ??

That would makes sense, if the case wasn't that they all play the same crap.

You've got good taste woscar. I'm in pretty much full agreeance with your list except for maybe rearranging the order on some of 'em.

Neither did I...well, except for that stupid "Purple" guy. Oh, and "element-y" is sure scoring some big points.

How come you don't have Desyn?

Well Woscar the only one that really doesn't make my list is Markus Schulz only because I havn't really listened to trance now for a good 6-8 months and I just don't recall his overall skill as a DJ. I would probably put either James Zabiela or Lee Burridge in his place (And that's a toughie, both are technically amazing and there music style seems pretty similar).
I would put Danny Howells higher on my list as well maybe one spot over Luke Fair.

Otherwise, I concur with your list for overall best DJ's.

Is it even possible to open a thread anymore and not find woscar and wotyzoid wanking each other off?
