Oh Man!!! The Memories!!!!

I just found these!!! Awww, the memories from ELEMENT!!! We used to have such a beautiful crowd. And some hotties. This was truly all about the music. Never a cover charge, and if we did it was no more than $5. I lost my ass off, but I didn't care. This was from the heart. We should've kept doing it.

Oh and the TA support and help on this project was truly unbelivable.

It was 'Egyptian Tiesto', thank you very much

This reminds me of that one classic TA night at Tommy's after Club Heaven. For me that was the greatest TA moment of all time. Haha.

Was it that funny? Fuck I wish I could remember what I said

Woody trained me in the art of hanging signs

Great times man!

Posted by bas on Oct-26-2007 17:16:

I remember tying keys to the end of a string and throwing it over those exposed pipes

Posted by Bob_Motamedi on Oct-26-2007 18:52:

Eric and I were there for that...

I think Eric still has the poster with Rachel's autograph on it.

do all of you guys feel that you've come a long way from these events???

it was a while ago and a lot has changed (for the positive and negative)...

how do you guys feel?

Seeing as how I started playing at gigs with no one there but the bartenders (not necessarily Element, because we had a crowd!) to playing places that are actually packed full of people...I'd say I've come some ways. There's always a higher goal though

Hahaha Thanks bro!!! I always appreciated all your help, and everyone's help. This was truly a TA event from the heart. We all pitch in our own little grains of sand. Weather we took turns checking ID's at the door (hahaha what a joke cuz everyone got in), or tied strings to the posters, promoting, sound, etc. It was a lot of work for a tiny event. Thank you all!!! Without all of us, it would've not been possible.

Yes, a lot has changed for me. This was deffinetely a learning experience. If I was to do it again, I would redefine the music format. But I have to agree with everything Bas said.

Posted by 72hrpartyanimal on Oct-26-2007 22:30:

Considering that you guys music have changed a lot over the years...

whats next??

the bar is obviously placed higher, both on a personal and professional level...

what are some of those goals now...

*these questions are not necessarily directed to just Bazweed and Woody, but EVERYYYONNNEEEEE, we've all grown/supported each other in this scene together, but i'm curious what we all can do to participate even further*

**sorry if this all sounds dumb... but those pics got me thinking quite a bit!**

(Baz smells like doodoo) >>>> no safety wink

I set goals all the time. So far I've met most of my goals.

For me the next step is to start producing my own music. My dream is to one day remix MANA into sick EDM. Mana is one of my favorite spanish rock groups. They have EDM remixes but they're all cheesy. I think this is going to come true very soon. I started putting together my studio, and I have some very talented producer friends who are willing to show me the ropes.

Obviously, I'd like to continue DJing, and I'd love to play in other cities again. My goal for next year is to play at a Massive! I already played at the NOS Events Center two years ago, but there wasn't nearly enough people to call it a massive.

I also wanna get sign on to a management agency. Right now i'm in the works of getting signed up with UPFRONT Bookings. We'll see how that turns out.
