Unhappy about the new Radio One Dance Music Schedule?

Despite there being a resurgence in dance music over recent years, Radio 1 have decided to thin out their dance music schedule in favour of R&B and other styles. This is especially disappointing at the BBC is a publicly funded company, and has a duty to cover a wide spectrum of music.

If you feel disappointed with the recent scheduling changes which effect shows from the Essential Mix through to Judge Jules's saturday night warmup, please sign this petition and spread the word to your friends:

R & bleedin' B? What the hell is 1Extra for then? With this and the recent announcement of less original programming (more repeats, basically) the BBC is going down the sh*tter.

A noble thought, but online petitions never really make any difference.

If one good thing has come out of the reshuffle it's the JJ show, he doesn't play the housey rubbish at the beginning, jumping straight into proper tunage!

I used to regularly stay up til 4 listening to the EM, but theres no chance I can manage 5 on a Friday. I'll just end up downloading the shows.

Unfortunately an online petition won't do anything.

PS - Bring back Fergie I say!

the beeb has been going down the shitter for years programming wise, it's only now it's hitting radio too. I'd love not to be forced into paying them wankers license fees
