Hmmmm?.....i'm really into Haruki Murakami books lately.Plus a bunch of other stuff.What does everyone else in here read?

i havent had time to read in forever anything outside of business school books, but the last thing i finished was Stephen King's Dark Tower series.... good stuff

Glamorama by Brett Easton Ellis
Filth by Irvine Welsh
Choke by Chuck Palahniuk
Naked Lunch by William S. Burroughs

Oh yea and I read half of Tropic of Cancer by Henry Miller before I had to return it to the library.

Guns, Germs, and Steel by Jared Diamond (Excellent book, look it up sometime. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guns,_Germs,_and_Steel )

Les Liaisons Dangereuses by Pierre Chorderlos de Laclos (its the work Cruel Intentions was based off of. It is NOT some teen drama, no worries. Its a commentary on pre revolutionary french aristocracy. Its interesting so far.)

Just finished "Musicophilia:Tales of music and the brain" by Oliver Sacks about three days ago.

I'm currently reading "After Dark" by Haruki Murakami.

I think next i'll most likely read "Do androids dream of electric sheep" by Philip K. Dick.

This will be my 6th or 7th time to read it. It's my favorite story of all time. The story is the oldest recorded in history that basically all stories written since take their structure from (a protagonist, an antagonist, defined struggles, etc). I think it's appeal is mainly because of that instead of the actual story itself.

It's not a very long book. Give it a try.

old highschool assigned reading. i just didn't see the appeal to it and i was all pumped about reading it beforehand
