New ID3 tag editor sucks balls. I want 5.35 back.

cos i use version 1.06 which is mega-old and since there's usually more info in id3v2 than v1 tags, it often screws up the program. I dunno why, I just know it does

Yeah, I managed to get 5.35 again (but not from oldversions.com) and it's much better now.

winamp 5 was a great upgrade to 2 but it has brought along with it the shitty developing that AOL loves to do. sucks too cause its slowly going to shit.

I've seen a lot of people diss Winamp 5 for some reason...
I think it's alright, I just don't like the new tag editor in version 5.5.
Look like I'll just continue using 5.35 and won't upgrade it anymore.

well i dont think that the added features are bad. i LOVE them to be honest. its just becoming a heavy app.thank god it hasnt gotten bad at all but the memory usage has gone way up compared to what 2.x was at. oh well. i still love winamp.

I like winamp as well, but I only use it on my desktop because of the amount of memory it uses. On the laptop I use foobar. Foobar lacks a bit of the functionality I liked from winamp, but its a more than suitable replacement for the next to nothing memory it uses.
