problems with access virus in logic 7

whenever i play a sequence going in to the virus i hear random notes comming up an sustaining and then going away. also on loop somtimes the last note is short. using a maudio fast track pro for my midi interface. ive tried changing a lot of parameters in logics midi setup with no luck... help!
