Review: Sunday @ CZ
Oh boy was Zone ever a Zoo this Sunday morning 
Carloa left me all wound up that I wasn't ready to call it a night and what better place to burn off extra energy then the good ol comfort zone. I had such a good time, got there just past 7:30 and Manzone and Strong were going to dropping some bombs, what I was most exited for was that deko-ze was on at 9. Last time I saw him was after Guv 11 year and I was really disappointed in what he played, I herd he went on a vacation for some much needed rest and boy did ever show !!! he ripped the zone a new one .... like the crowd was going bonkers all morning everyone was so into it. Deko-ze made my weekend when he played milk and sugar for me, it's my fav song to hear at comfort zone .... well everything sounds better at zone 
Dj TK was after Deko-ze but I was too tired so after resting for a bit I was ready to call it a weekend around 1:30. Great seeing all usually CZ trouble makers <3! Zone was 10/10
I walked into zone around 10am and lasted 5 mins. (barely enough time for my eyes to adjust) The place was at a level of insanity I'd never seen before. Without being dramatic I had a feeling the place was going to go up in flames. hahah
The first sign I had that Zone was next level was that before entering the place there was a guy in his boxer shorts doing handstands up against the wall next to entrance. (it was like -5 on Sunday lol)
I guess the Halloween vibe truely amplifies the zone experience. I don't think I've ever been in an environment as evil/intense as those 5 mins.
bomb after bomb..... dekoze was on fire. sunday morning mass at its best!!
what a great way to end of the weekend.... yes...jon jon... the zone was on fire yesterday... so many crazy antics and evilness.... the energy was thru that low roof.... highlight of the morning- peek a boo with dekoze...lol!!
Without a doubt one of the most insane Zone experiences yet! Mr. Manzone was destroying things downstairs when we arrived (haven't been to church that early ever so it was wicked to see things from this point of view and hear M&S at Zone for the first time!). Deko-Ze came on and like Peter said tore that place a new one, the man really delivers when he wants to! Peek-a-boo with Deko-ze was all around awesome times Knox I enjoyed our little private discussion literally on the dancefloor!
As for the insanity, bonkers can't even begin to describe this place. My friends and I spent most of the time upstairs hanging out and dancing because downstairs was way too much at one point but the madness didn't keep itself from coming upstairs at some periods. Highlight of the day was my tea party with Alice. Without a doubt the neatest variation of an Alice costume I've seen yet, instead of a white teddy bear she had a white puppet and was talking to it for most of the day, so I went to sit down and have a chat with her and she whips out two tiny tea cups. I think that right there was when I realized how nutso this place truely is

good and bad
on saturday evening i was debating whether or not i wanted to go to zone on sunday morning. i ended up going from 6-9am and loved it. sure, there were some interesting characters as usual but thats one of the things i love about the place. its like going to a circus.

Yea Halloween last year was also "threatening to the structural integrety of the building" good.

The vibe in there was DEFINATELY jumpin!!
Was already pretty tired from the Amigos cruise and then the Carola-Sasha madness so we left at about noon.
Manzone and Strong were as good as I've seen them lately (which is pretty damned good). I love the sound they put at the zone...they don't sound like that in any other venue they play in. I literally had to pick my jaw up off the icky floor a few times.
As for Deko-ze...its been a long time since I saw him behind the decks and goddamn did I miss the madness. He took what little energy I had left and completely obliterated it.
Halloween should be a shitshow!!!
Everything hurts and i can't move .... but it's all worth it.

I drove by it around 6:30am after Destiny and there a long line-up... I wanted to go and keep dancing but my friends were done for the night...
Fuck man what a day it was.....I guess it was my best time @ zone everrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr..........Got in @ 6:30ish....Boy was that place banging.....The beats kept getting dirtier and dirtier.Deko-ze was on fire,i was even dancing while sitting LOL wow....
My buddy who lives in my area (Sauga) who i brought with me to guv and then to zone wanted to leave around 4:00pm......I was so not in the mood to go home...Gave him my car keys and told him to pick me up @ 10pm.....Thats how good the music was.
I LOVE CZ.

CZ was daaaaa shiit!!!i'm glad i ended up going...i still had energy left to keep goin for a bit longer so got there at around 8am ...walked around, and relaxed till dekoze came on and then.....omg!! all hell broke loose ahahaha..the time finally came to bust some moves on the floor hahaha... i was dancing like a maniac even though my feet were killing me after dancing all night at the guv...but i couldn't help it...i pretty much stayed in my own corner near the speaker and just went nuts on the dancefloor...met some amazing dancers as well...left around noon...great times!!it was great to see sketchbag and kotsy there as well!!!
