Le Freak - Ze Germans Killed Tupac [Tech House/Techno]

So this is a bit cracked out, like me. Its really unconventional in terms of mixing and i sort of like it. Then again I like alot of music that makes normies scared and hide in the closet. Not for househeads, trance faces, or pretty much anyone in their right mind. Techno, because if my hands are in tha air i'm being robbed.

Ramstein did it.

Kaliber - Kaliber 16.3 [Kaliber Records]
Luke Solomon - Ghouls (Claude Vonstroke Beats From The Grave Remix) [Rekids]
Rainer Weichhold - Bamboo (Format B Remix) [Great Stuff]
Audiojack - Japan 4 [U.F.O]
Michael Ho - Take Away [Turning Spork Germany]
Christian Burkhardt - Dragee [Raum Musik]
Super Flu - Sambalg [Traum]
Digitaline - Honolulu (Digitaline's Kamehameha Version) [Cadenza]
James Venturi & Janus Orghe - Stalattite Stalagmite [Multi Vitamins]
Philip Sherburne - Lumberjacking (Exercise One Remix) [Lan Music]
Silvano & Guiseppe Albrizio - Resonance [Hausbeat Bag]
Popof - My Toyz [Skryptom Records]
Olivier Gregoire - Sarma [Systematic]

Grabbing this now, I'll give it a listen this afternoon

Posted by denys envy on Oct-31-2007 02:11:

this is gold.

mixing is literally insane and totally unconvetional. track selection is so dirty and minimalistic it probably killed tupac... but wow it works. it was compelling and not boring which is a first out of this genre for me. i'm giving this another listen at work tomorrow.

Posted by Sushipunk on Oct-31-2007 06:05:

Wicked set mate, that'll be getting a heap more listens for sure. I find tech house and techno to be a bit hit and miss for me, but that was sweet

Posted by spc on Oct-31-2007 13:58:

Great stuff so far, absolutely loved the opening track and that spooky laughing or whatever that is, might be a baby burping for all i know lol... anyway, i was only able to check the first 15 mins, gotta run to a job interview now, will check the rest later

Posted by UWM on Oct-31-2007 14:39:

Will give it a listen.

Posted by Sushipunk on Nov-01-2007 05:36:

Listening to this again. The track that starts at ~10 mins is such a killer tune

Posted by Domesticated on Nov-01-2007 10:10:

Philip Sherburne produces now?

That's funny.

I'm jealous though.

Posted by denys envy on Nov-01-2007 13:01:

UWM seal of approval on this one.

Posted by Paulr on Nov-03-2007 22:15:

soooooooo minimal and techy...
Every time i listen to one of your set, i find my music folder to be close to the one of a 60 years old.....

I would be definitly there in the event of a live performane

Before I listened to this set I liked Techno, now I love Techno.

Great selection of songs, quite a few that I didn't know until but WOWZA, so good. Great addiction to the set's you've been mixing lately. Like everyone's saying, fantastic and pretty perfected mixing.

Silvano & Guiseppe Albrizio - Resonance [Hausbeat Bag]

downloading. Too many good reviews. Plus techno = automatic win.

Posted by Glaniskanis on Nov-06-2007 07:06:

Posted by Omega_M on Nov-07-2007 00:08:

Ok, not exactly what I was expecting when I read "techno" but w/e. Nice set. The tune at 10:00 mins is killer.
