Man tapes girlfriend's allegations of assault

MAN TAPES GIRLFRIEND'S ALLEGATIONS OF ASSAULT
Oct, 30 2007 - 11:50 AM

INNISFIL - An Innisfil man who was arrested for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend is off the hook thanks to a secret tape recording of the incident. Police called to a home Monday were told by a woman that she had been hit in the head by her boyfriend, who had left by then. But when he returned, he was arrested, but later released when he played a tape recording of the incident. Police say the woman was heard telling the man she would ruin his life by telling police he had assaulted her. The woman is charged with public mischief and obstructing police.

What a f*cking WHORE!

Stupid bitch, she should have HUGE consequences fro trying to publicly defame and ruin his life like that by having him slapped w/ assault charges.

That can do SO much damage to a persons career, not to mention the possible jail time and/or fees.

God, I hate hearing about BS charges like this. Penalties for such actions really need to be stepped up. This shouldnt be tolerated even an inch!

I had a crazy ex who called the cops on me and told them I hit her...

All my friends laughed, and I laughed...

When the cop came over, I showed him all the crazy texts and e-mails she sent me saying stuff like "Oz i'll put the knife away when you come", "Oz I hurt myself where are you", "You just killed me"

lol

You should have seen the cops face... but what does the f***** ass say to me??

"It would be in your best interest not to contact her"

I was like WTF?? No Shit... I'm the one who didn't want to talk to her...

Honestly, its stupid when I read or hear about things like this... Definetly unfair...

Girls like this give females a bad name. Disgusting.

Although I do know that emotional abuse from a man can make women do the craziest things - in every case I have come across, it has been 6 of one and half a dozen of the other....

Good on the man to know what sort of psycho bitch and covering his ass properly

Posted by thesauce23 on Oct-30-2007 16:47:

its f*ckin rediculous that a woman can make up shit and totally f*ck a guy over just by lying/saying the guy did something and the police will arrest the guy right away.

I recently read a story on cnn.com about a guy that just got out after spending 22 years in prison for a rape he didn't commit. recent dna confirmed it.

Stuff like this is f*cked. my dad used to date this drunken crazy b*tch wh*re of a woman who would come home wasted and rage all over the place.

One night she got all up in his face pushing him around and stuff and hitting him, so he warned her several times before finally pushing her away.

Crazy b*tch calls the cops and tells them he abuses her and he spent the night in jail and had to take some seminar on controlling his anger.

Sh*t like this pisses me off.

Ridiculous the way that works! Woman can generally abuse the man physically like that and nothing will come of it, yet reverse the tables and automatically BAM! the guys in jail and charged!

Such BULLSHIT and a double standard! in your case, her fucking ass should be charged and in jail! Jesus hearing stuff like that really drives me nuts.

when did society generally decide we'd accept or tolerate or not make a 'big deal' out of physical hitting and abuse from a woman on a man, but that the *slightest* bit of such activity reversed and its a massive taboo and punished extremely.

It should be punished as such in BOTH cases equally. One is no less wrong than the other. Ridiculous.

I think it happened around the same time that we decided women should be paid less than men, and should generally speaking be treated as inferior and simply objects of male sexual desire..

Not that this is the case for most people, but its tough... gender issues are complicated and are pretty engrained in one direction or the other in the minds of alot of people.

... its still bullshit though

Posted by Dr. DAS on Oct-30-2007 17:41:

When I was 16 I dated a girl who played the same game. She was an only child and a spoiled one at that.

She got all bruised up playing touch football or whatever and told everyone at her school that I had roughed her up. I was going to go visit the school with an army buddy of mine (he went to that school)on a day off from training and he says, "maybe you shouldn't come with" and then told me the story. Apparently some people knew I was coming and had plans to teach me a lesson. Please hold your school jokes until the end.

So I didn't go. When I got home I was visibly upset and, after some coaxing, told my 'rents the whole story. My mom called her mom, who was dumbfounded and angry that her daughter would do such a thing to a nice boy like me, knowing how she got bruised up. Nothing ever happened.

I was very angry with my mom for going behind my back as I like to deal with things myself, but I didn't understand fully the potential for this to escalate. Both my 'rents were cops and know all too well what even a false accusation of this sort can mean for a young man.

A year or so later a friend of mine was falsely accused of rape and there was a huge deal with the cops and he had to change schools because of the stigma the false accusation attached to him. It was clearly just a cry for attention because he was out of town that day/night at a family gathering...the cops were not impressed, but again, nothing ever happened to her.

Its downright frightning how vindictave people can be.

Posted by Spin Laden on Oct-30-2007 17:45:

that story sucks and yeah, she needs to be ripped a new ass (or vag). That said, think of all the assaults that DO happen and go unreported by women. We as males suck more than women, generally

Posted by Jem_hadar on Oct-30-2007 17:57:

im wondering how many dont go reported by men, bc of things like they feel they should just suck it up, dont be a 'pussy' and make a big deal out of it, or other social doctrines that have made men generally keep such shit to themselves. i mean, jesus, imagine a buddy foudn out you were being hit by your wife and you reported it... i can just picture the 'the boys' would prolly laugh at it...

but then that right there is an issue men are propgating themselves, if they'd raze a buddy or co-work or someone they knew about acting as such.

Posted by zoogla on Oct-30-2007 18:03:

wow what a serious issue. shout out of support to you guys that have experienced these negative issues personally.

I'm just noticing, though, the absence of female perspective on this

I guess it's just a touchy subject.

As I understand it, there is alot of stigma surrounding it... (ie. if you got raped you asked for it, or are a whore etc...)

My girlfriend volunteers for SASSL (Sexual Assault Survivors Support Line) @ York, and from what I've heard from her the actual rates of women who have been/will be raped are estimated (by whom im not sure) to be nearly 50%.

Granted that kind of thing is impossible to get an actual statistic on because they arent all reported, and I dont know what the actual figure she quoted to me is or who came up with it but it sounded pretty high to me...

I don't know tons about these issues, but I do know that alot of cases go unreported.

its just a shame there are crazy attention seeking b*tches out there using something like this for their own personal agendas.

I think you have a serious misunderstanding of how things actually play out. While they may take action and make an arrest - how often do any of these guys actually serve time?

Have you ever had an abused man or woman in your life?

Have you ever had a friend beaten to a pulp by her boyfriend and lived through the experience as a victim?

While I completely agree that punishment should be equal on both sides - I don't think men who abuse women are getting a raw deal.

I do suppose when you only see a woman as a set of tits your perception can be blurred.
