all by myself in a nice comfy bachelor pad. got tired of dealing with other peopls shit. my last 2 places lived with chix. while one was a friend whos practically my sister and we got a long pretty good, the other was a psychotic feminist who would always get in arguments with myself and my roomate and try to prove herself in our apartment. living on my own was the best decision ive made in a while. lol
I lived on my own for 5 years at Uni away from home...currently i live with my parents bc my work is really close to our family home and I spend my weekends with my man in his condo downtown...and yes i have a supply of clothes, shoes and toiletries in both homes!

I have lived on my own since I was 18, went back for a year at 19 then bought my own house just as I turned 20.
That would make 10 years in total.
4 years and 2 months on my own (parents don't live in Canada)
aaaaaaaaaaall by myyyyyyyyyyyyyyself

hahaha) ... now if only i didnt have to pay rent, there's a sweet deal!
on my own for the last 3 1/2 years...and loving it!! I love my family but at the same time i really needed my peace and quiet
lol @ jon jon.
why?
At home, and it really ain't too bad (yet).
Sure the commute sucks balls - but I have great home cooked meals, no rent, the entire basement to myself, cutting into debt on a weekly.... i can go on for days.
I could see myself getting back out there in the Spring, but I'm not in any rush at all.

Spent 4 years at University on my own. Lived at home during the summers, lived in Montreal one of those Summers.
Currently living at home as I can't afford a place downtown yet. I don't want to rent a place cause that just doesn't make any sense.
Plan on living at home for a couple to save up to buy a nice condo.
No complaints. My parents don't mind me leaving and coming home at 7am-8am on the weekends. I get a ride w/ my dad to work downtown every morning.
I pay some rent but I get all my meals home cooked, my laundry done, bed made, house cleaned and I have two rooms and washroom all to myself upstairs.

hehe..just kidding
With my rentals. We get along relatively fine, and considering all the money I'm saving, I'm not planning on moving out till I've graduated, spoiled myself with the toys spawning from not paying for rent and food, and saved up a bunch of money.
does my wife count as family?
