New FLTA Mod Nomination Thread...

Well if you read the FLTA Chill Out Thread then you know that FallingMoon is stepping down as the FLTA moderator. As proposed by chach and I concur, this should be a democratic process. This thread is not official so please your input is requested.

But this is what I propose, please feel free to make suggestions on how this process should be handled...

I think this thread should be for nominations, if 5+ (this number can be changed) people agree on the nomination of a certain FLTA then that person will officially be nominated. Once we have a couple of nominations, then we'll make a poll and whoever wins I guess will be the new FLTA moderator. I'm sure the new FLTA mod will have to be approved by Swamper, but I'm sure we can work everything out. I guess we can keep the nomination thread open for maybe 2 weeks, and then a poll maybe another 2 weeks just so that FLTAs have a chance to nominate and vote. I also think for the poll, every person who votes should also post their vote, just so that people from other forums who dont frequent FLTA skew the results. I also guess multiple nominations would be okay from one person, but for the final vote, maybe only one vote would count from each person.

Lemme know what you think. This is just an idea.

I wouldn't mind taking over the position.. TA has become my second home and I love to meet new people and chat about music.. I like every type of electronica and im a pretty chill person otherwise..

na, i dont want the job. but ill head this whole process if no one has a problem with it.

ima wait a little while before i nominate anyone, i just wanna make sure if everyone is cool with the way i think we should do this, or if we need to adjust anything or whatever.

I didn't mean to nominate myself, I just said I would be happy to do it... I thought it would be easier to nominate people who agreed they wanted to do it instead of nominating someone that might not want the position... I don't want to push anyone into something they don't want to do...
