That's not a good deal i rather pay the tax and get some kind of warranty form the store not pay full price and have nothing. I know you can buy and extended warranty form xbox too ( i use to work for their tech support ) but it takes weeks to get it back and if you get a store warranty they exchange it much faster Future shop FTW

a comparable system at futureshop is $399 + tax = $454 PLUS 3yrs warranty PLUS hdmi port (newer models circa 2007) PLUS 2 games (marvel Alliance and Forza)

Yours is same price, no HDMI port, no warranty and only ONE game. Also the older systems tend to break alot more (red ring of death)

your system is probably worth $300 - $350

i looked online to see how much this thing is and it said $499 new

anyway, if anyone wants it then just throw me a figure, i really dont care, ive got an xbox already...its too bad the prize wasnt a PS3. would save me a lot of headache

There are 3 models of xbox now:
1. $499
2. $399
3. $299


The $499 has all the bells and whistles, full HDMI support, upgraded 120GB hard drive, and newer components

The $399 is a newer version of the one that you have.

All 3 new models run on the faster 65nanometer motherboard, which means unlike your first generation xbox, it stays cooler and wont' overheat. All 3 models are also guaranteed for 3yrs of warranty so you know that you're covered.


I would be interested in it for $300, weighing in the fact that it's a first generation model, with no warranty, which is the most important selling feature of new xboxes since alot of ppl were scared off that alot of first gen models were dying.
