AUTA in TO
Greetz, so yeah I'm in TO. Arrived 3 days ago. Will be in Canada for a couple years. Still sorting out a place to live (downtown area). Once I'm settled I hope to catch some of you folks out and about.
Seeing squirrels in the parks spins me out

some birds maybe, the occasional stray cat or dog but yeah no squirrels. I was like... "WTF IS THIS?" hahahaa
So are those squirrels nasty lil creatures, or is it safe to pick one up?
Thanks for the welcome mate!

I always wondered why you were active on here.. now I know!
Welcome welcome welcome! You are in the right place to make lots of friends - don't hesitate to ask if you need anything as I will be happy to help (only been here 3.5 years).
Do you know anyone here? What's your story?
P.S. I would never have moved here in November....
P.P.S You can feed the squirrels (they will come to you) but don't even attempt to pick one up.
I met a bunch of TOTAs (Emery, Corinne, Carlos, n others) in Berlin, Fight the Power, 2004. Fun group, and totally chilled!
Also know a couple of people (non-TA's) I met on Contiki that year in Europe.
Other than that... totally foreign and keen to make some new friends and check out what this place is all about.
Moving in November... yeah I'm actually pretty excited to experience the winter here. I like cold climates, though it seems many people don't LOL. Next summer I'll be back in Europe so it was now or never.
I ain't feeding no squirrel if I can't pick the bastard up LOL.
winter is cute the first few days to newcomers
Let's talk about this in january
