yeh I was wondering that too when I walked past one yesterday here in Toronto. It was packed full of young people.

My friend tells me it's the shiznit when it comes to coffee.

Bagels at Timmy's are crappy machine mass-manufactured circular bread, like any other bagel place in toronto. Gotta go to Fairmount in Montreal, or close-substitute St-Urbain bagel (Bathurst, just N. of Steeles) in Toronto for that.

Posted by Leif on Nov-02-2007 04:10:

French Vanilla +1

Cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese if i'm hungry

Sausage TiMatin, aka breakfast-death-sandwich (not sure on official name outside of quebec), if i'm lucky

(it looks better in real life)

Posted by Yohan on Nov-02-2007 04:17:

lol timatin. creative

cuz in english it's called tim horton's breakfast sandwich

Posted by nchs09 on Nov-02-2007 04:21:

i drink about 2 or 3 bags of chi tea every day. usually cold and with no sugar.....

Posted by Intuition on Nov-02-2007 17:20:

Steeped tea, 2 sugars, no milk.

My Spanish prof recently moved here from Chicago, and he was mentioning walking down the street past a "Tom Horton's". I LOL'd so loud that he gave me a dirty look.

haven't tried it yet, but will soon! My friend recommended the double double too. I'm guessing that's two coffee plus two sugars?

Well they're on enough corners here to have some level of market share. You guys don't have Gloria Jeans. In Sydney Gloria Jeans > Starbucks.

Had a large cappuccino at Coffee Time today. I liked it. Nice and creamy.

large 2 milk no sugar. maybe a donut or bagel to nible on.

I worked their for 3 years and saw the 'always fresh' motto slowly change to 'always frozen'. From doughnuts, to bagels, to soups its all mass manufactured off site and frozen for transport and storage.

You haven't really enjoyed a doughnut until you've had a fresh that is still a little warm.mmmmmmmmmm, I think I need to buy a deep fryer.

Krispy Kreme FTW!

Posted by Zentac_75 on Nov-02-2007 19:02:

a fresh donut doesn'tneed glaze.
Krispy Kreme doughnuts have a crunch to them they are so glazed. My thoughts anyway, I have a couple tubbies who swear by them.

Every time I drive into the US I have to stop and grab two extra large dub/dub before crossing the boarder.
