Tracks like these ?

I am looking for tracks with long highly repetitive energetic beats. Examples of some of my favorite tracks include

PVD - Seven Ways (from Global)
Emmanuel Top - Mars (Kai Tracid Remix)
Smoked - Metro / Polis
Smart System - Morgentau (spring mix)

Songs like these immediately make me go What genre am I looking at here ? What DJs play sets with these kinds of tracks. That, and stuff similar to

Jas van Houten - Heaven's Gate (Original Mix).

From Seven Ways

Global is just a mix compilation of some of Paul's hits. It was originally included in 'Seven Ways'.

I'de say you are looking at tech-trance or acid trance, or better yet progressive trance with a dash of tech (esp the Paul van Dyk tune). The Heaven's Gate track though is probably what you would consider "progressive trance" but the more melodic variety that Schulz spins.

Your best bet to find tracks like these is to listen to some PVD sets from 2003-2005.

A pretty good one to get would be 'PVD live @ Nature One 31/07/2004'. It's available on the TA set download page.
