Love Aria - Dido (Armin Van Buuren's Universal Religion Mix)

Uptil now I've always had Sasha - Xpander as my all time fav trance tune. But today,I went down to my local record store and listened to Tiesto's "Summerbreeze" mix cd,and when this track opened the whole cd.......OH MY GOD!!!!!I thought that I had thoroughly experienced what had to do with emotions on trance records, but this time.....Man,I had constant goosebumps for 2-3 mins, and my vision became blurry because from all the tears. So from now on,this track has taken over the no.1 trance tune ever-place in my heart.I only hope that the people in the record shop don't think that I've got some serious personal problems or something....

First trance CD I ever listened too and it blew my mind. Tiesto was genious in that compilation.

I felt the same way you did about System F - Elevate, but I go through that EVERY time i hear it with my nice speakers.

Me too sand Leaper, it gives me the bumps everytime.

I'd have to say that Summerbreeze is my one of my most favourite albums ever.

Cabala - Dark Blue is W.I.K.E.D as well...

yes this is a highly emotional piece of art

Posted by arjoderoon on Apr-27-2002 20:59:

yes indeed... this is one piece of art... how it begins... there are few tracks which are better to open a set...
but ... i have many tracks that give me goosebumps....
but yes... this one scores a 11/10...

Definately a fucking awesome remix....if you take a listen to the original, you'll know what I mean. Heard it back in 1999 when I bought the Aria CD from a Holland online store.

Armin Van Buuren certainly got the tools and the talent to remix such a track.

Take a listen to DJ Tiesto's Magikal Remake of Aria - Willow....that massive remix has been in my car for a damn long time...superb remixing from the master himself, incoporating a fine, fine breakdown to an opera-sounding track..

Vinyl Junkies --> Go grab the vinyl now on Blackhole Records only! You'll not regret it

Later!

it's the same when you meet a nice girl / or boy perhaps...
you're totally in love with... she's amazing... but if one asks you what it is that makes you love her.. you can't tell.. it isnt one thing that makes her the perfect girl... it's everything about her...
that's what this track makes so nice... it's everything...

Posted by DamnDirtyApe on Apr-28-2002 01:55:

this song = good

!!!

Posted by Bayou Boy on Apr-28-2002 04:23:

Your absolutely right man. That's one of the best piece's of work I've ever heard and it's been one my to buy list for a long long time. If anyone know's of an online record shop that might have it...PLEASE let me know!

Posted by dj_mdma on Apr-28-2002 10:46:

This track has one of the greatest introductions to a piece of music of ALL TIME. TOtally euphoric as it builds up towards the end then suddenly fades out, and the bass synth comes in...

yum

But the speech bits, they sound familiar, are they from a movie or something?

Posted by mos man on Apr-28-2002 12:14:

Smiley DJ

Doesn't say anything about vocalss taken from previous songs or movies in the track details

Posted by Hell_Copter on Apr-28-2002 12:26:

this tune i pure beautiful trance tune!!!!!!
but i'm asking u this... what have u expected!??!
it's Armin people... of course it'll be great

Posted by oDrori on Apr-28-2002 13:21:

Actually Armin rearely ever does it to me... But when he does, he does...

Anyways, the vocals are taken from Aria , which is an opera musical.

The geniuses realised what a combo Trance and Opera would make and let Armin and Tijs remix um... 2 brilliant track are the result, with Armin's being my fav.

I prefer Tiestos remix of Willow

Much better IMO

oDrori, the Vocals are NOT from the 'Dido' Opera, the Orchestral intro is! Did u really think that a man saying stuff about looking out of a window looks beautiful from up here is from a calssical opera It is morelikely from a film that is based in space, cos of the radio beeps arnd stuff.

The intor is sampled form Dido. And The opera is named after the Queen of Carthage, and NOT the singer
