Need some help with an older track.

Ok, I have been thinking about this song for many many years. I had it when I was in high school. That was about 6 years ago, the song was a compilation of many songs from various artist that a buddy of mine liked. Sadly he is no longer with us, there for I can not ask him. However, I am wondering if any one can help me locate this song:
Starts out 3, 2, 1, begin launch sequence. Then you hear the song and through out the song you hear (at random) a ping pong ball getting hit back and forth. The sound fades from left to right. Then it starts up again, kind of a far stretch to find the artist or the song again but hey. Anyone out there who may know please let me know.

well I found that track but it was not the one I was looking for, though it was pretty sick.
