tiger woods 2008

i have been playing tiger wood 2008 on the ps2 and i can never get a consistent swing.
about 70% of the time it slices/hooks to the right, and the rest i can shoot straight.
i change direction to adjust for that right slice/hook but when i hit it straight it throws off my hole.

whats the deal with this, if anyone knows ??

must agree...i was playing woods 08 on the computer and it was ok. and i just got it for the Wii...even though its 'almost' the same game, its 100000x more fun on the wii.
