10/7? We are having parties in the past now? Might want to change the thread title to 11/7

Posted by kingchinc on Nov-06-2007 15:49:

past parties are the best parties

If we take the difference between the hypotenuse length at angle and the actual trailing arm length, we obtain a length (X3) which we can use as the hypotenuse of a new (smaller) triangle.

so what does Tommy Lee spin anyways? lol

The guy is a straight-up douchebag, don't let him into this scene.

Free party, ill be there.

Plus its BT . . . if anything Ill stay for his set and then leave.

I was planning to go to this, mainly for bt who i've seen twice in the past few months. however, i have no info on this event so looks like I'll have to pass
it wouldn't be worth the hassle on a weeknight for me, esp if I go and bt plays at 2am for 15 mins. this is a bit of an event/promo for pioneer after all, not a regular dj show

He came on at around 130ish.

Sandra spun a mean set.

Was Sandra a pile of mashed potatoes?

1:30 is late for a week night, I definitely couldn't have stuck around for that..so I feel better already : )

was it visible if the djs were using the SVM-1000?

Left the place around 3am got to work around 8am. The first two hours at work sucked, feels like any other day now - I'm glad I went ... it was a good break for the work week.

Sorry did not even look to see what the dj's were using. All I know is (and I have not been to Pacha in ages so it could be normal now) they had a huge stage (like a T shape stage) that took a lot of space and was kind of stupid to me. At least the place was not packed toe to toe so it was ok

that's the new pioneer they were demoing right?

Posted by stan229 on Nov-08-2007 20:33:

should have been yea.. thats why i think pioneer sponsored this party and its on a wednesday, and afaik tommy lee VJs when he plays with dj aero

Posted by Serial Killer on Nov-08-2007 23:18:

If Tommy would whipped out his shlong and smacked sandra with

it,

then i would have gone and killed my Wed night. Otherwise i'm glad i

didn't go

Wow- surprisingly a good night...Sandra Collins was great, first time seein her but she threw down some really hard tracks and finished up with some vocal trance (nic chagall- what you need ect.)

BT killed it "break my fall" was def. the high point of the night (does anyone know what song he opened with, it was kinda catchy...) He played longer than I expected as well (1:15am~2:30am)

And as stated before, Tommy Lee was surpisinly quite good throwin down some serious dirty electo house beats (he was goin nuts!)And it was very difficult to adjust seeing him behind the tables although im not sure how much Dj'ing he was actually doin, it looked like he was basically just f'n with the efx and letting his other guy do most of the work...fun night though -especially for a Wednesday!

Posted by CashZilla on Nov-12-2007 17:51:

Anybody know where pictures/vids of this party could be?

I have not found anything on the pioneerprodj website that advertized the party. . . . and there were 995849383 people with cameras crawling all over that place.

thanks
