i havent seen such a complete and fucking amazing tracklist in awhile. its a shame tiesto doesnt play like this all the time. cuz he can, he just doesnt care, or hes playing to those kiddies here in the states that actually give him money, unlike us. he really only drops like 5 sets this epic all year, if even that, and def not here in the states. its so sad.
the mans still got it, everyone just likes to hate. damn, i knew when this party got announced it was going to be epic cuz isos6 was actually good! if only it wasnt for school and the money it would of cost to fly to amsterdam for the weekend, i would of been there.
LEMME SEE ARMIN DROP A SET THIS COMPLETE WITH HIS ARMIN ONLY CRAP! BUHAHHAHAHAH
/rant
Wow.. That TL is F***ing sick... To bad he holds back when he comes to the States...

Seeing shit like this pisses me off about how stupid and naive armin fans are.
I'll take any other trance dj for a long epic set other than Armin.
PvD over anyone ![]()
The only reason Tiesto is hated is cause he just doesn't play like this 9 times out of 10 and we're left hearing garbage like in the dark, or duets with the blue man group. It's an insult to the people who made him what he is but I guess you can't blame him/his management for wanting to make max $'s which I'm sure he has from his commercial quests of late.
I have no doubt he's still got it, I'm just thankful I got to see him many times before he hit it big and so was fortunate enought to see some of his epic sets a few years ago.
As for Armin, he's not all bad and he can lay it down when he wants, his recent cream Birthday set was pretty fucking hot....the evidence:

when they do their crazy tours that stops in every crack in the US with 5 shows a week of course it'll be watered down and lame..
these guys must be so tired travelling every day and yes like any business the main goal is to make the most money.. so sometimes its easier to just throw in the big fan favorites and call it a night..
any one of these big djs (even oakenfold) can and has the knowledge and resources to create one of their old school style memorable epic sets with all new great stuff...
but to the casual listener which is what i am at the very most these days Armin appeals to me the most.. and since i never hear anything from any DJ other than once every 2 months an ASOT the stuff is new to me
i guess im not a trance addict anymore, just a casual groupie that doesnt know music anymore which is why i like Armin... i guess that also makes me stupid and naive

i was falling asleep when i saw a&b live. armin i had a decent time at but it wasnt anything mindblowing like MAAAANY pvd sets ive been at. pvds radio shows suck ass. so does armins. tiestos is decent. sanders fucking owns. markus fucking owns too. internet radio shows will be or are even the death of trance. id much rather listen to a liveset than a fucking radio show anyday.

Ok I saw Armin twice at Space a couple years back he was spinning with Markus Schulz those times I saw him I'll admit were awesome. I had a great time and hearing him drop Control Freak (SVD mix) and White Sand was unbelievable. I don't think he is as good now though to be named the #1 dj blah. Markus still owns though!!
Now on to Tiesto I got to see him for my first time at Bang he really did throw down a banging set ending it with an insane song "The Prophet". Now I got to see him again at Ultra day 1 he sucked ass!! I never wanted to see Tiesto again after his Ultra performance I guess now a days he is a hit or miss??
Now all I can hope for is PVD will rip it at Space this weekend and not play some lukewarm set.
I saw Tiesto for the first time ouside of America this past summer in IBIZA and he rocked he is totally different overseas than in the USA thats a fact

that tracklist is great. it really is, but it doesn't mean shit to me b/c he will never play anything remotely close to that over here in the states and I think he is big enough now to the point where he should play out like that more often(like he use to). I could care less about him rocking it out hard somewhere else when everytime he is around here he plays garbage sets.

miami has a horrible scene. but what relevance is it to the fact that tiesto only plays great sets outside of the states. yes i know he plays for the commercial crowd over here but wtf mate. a lot of the reason he got to where he is now is b/c of his earlier fans. You think the guy would think of that before he regurgitated shitty set after shitty set. I think it's great that he can still rock out but who really gives a flip if he can't do it on a semi-consistent basis.
Is there any hope for a better EDM scene out here in Miami it's like if you were to drop trance in a club you would get shot out here for not playing electro lol.....
and is there any hope Tiesto would ever spin at Space again rather than Mansion =/
I was there last Saturday and I can tell you: I think this was the best Tiesto set I heard this year. Better than the EOL Tour @ Gelredome and better than the ISOS 6 cd release party @ The Matrixx.
I recorded some amazing videos, 25 in total (22 of Tiesto).
And this is a part of the pictures, pictures taken with my camera.
Pictures of Maryliz (my fiance from the US) will come later.
