can't disagree more...they're not good for anything

have you heard Pendulum's Ultra set at WMC 2007? the mc does not shut up for any consecutive 10 seconds during the 1 hour set, completely ruins it... i couldn't even stand listening to the set, the mc is so in your face and it's like the music is the background to HIS f-ing show

haha the one on tiesto's dutch dimension set was alright, they know how to pump up the crowd before the dj gets on ill give em that. but once the music is playing time to shut up.

I like MC + Hardcore sometimes. They can also ruin an otherwise good set too.. Wouldn't like to hear an MC in a Trance set though, but I don't judge it yet either since I haven't even heard any MC's in Trance sets.

mc's are fine in the right environment. d+b, Dubstep, hip hop etc.

but i hate nothing more than when an mc ruins a good trance set with poor timing. with their overdone mic volume and their 'im so important' attitude.

i know of one mic contributor i quite like the sound of. he manages to fit with the techno genre perfectly. just wish i could understand italian.

As if, she pops up on TA. Shes a "scenester" round here. She can usually be found at hard house and happy hardcore nights gurning her face off.

She actually is just bad at all those.

The main memory of her I have is being at a chill out bar at 7am, I was coming down like an old block of flats. I had been dancing to some nice tech house all night.

At this chill out bar though, they had a Hardcore room and it cold be heard very well up in the chill out bit, suddenly se appears, belly hanging out, fluffy boots, sort skirt and starts doing "the" happy hardcore dance.
