I am the omelet master!
I just made the best fucking omelet ever! It's so perfect, and oozing with cheese.
I've finally mastered the omelet flip, too. Something I couldn't do before, but can do easily now that I have nice new non-stick pans (courtesy of my bf's parents)!
I would take pics of this ridiculous deliciousness, but I don't want to make you all jealous.
I would love to learn how to make omelets. I just recently figured out a bombtastic recipe for a grilled cheese sandwich, and I've found nothing is better than eating something delicious that you made.
what is in this omelet, exactly?
Bacon, green onion, green pepper, and old cheddar. It's a two egg omelet. I put it on toast.
God, I really am so proud that I flipped it!! LoL!
see I always try to make it too big. Last omlette i fixed was a 6 egg omlette and just ended up being a casserole

Hmm... I love omelets, but Im allergic to eggs.
I need help with the flipping.
I do think its the fact that we do not have a non stick pan.
Nonstick is the only way to flip.

| Originally posted by jennypie Yeah it definitely makes the difference...cause I was never able to until now. Thank you, bf's parents! <3 Mind you, you still have to just give'r with the flip and not be afraid to do it...cause I could also have seen it ending very badly, lol. edit: Oooooh I can't wait to make pancakes!!! |

^Yep non-stick pans are the way to go. I felt the same level of excitement the first time I flipped pancakes. Before I use to flip them with a spatula, but it would come out all messy and out of wack.
Anyways I love omelets. I make mine with chopped tomatoes, sausages, and of course cheese. Sometimes I make hybrid omelet-pancakes! I heavily douse a slice of bread with the omelet mixture (minus the tomatoes and meat) and cook in a pan. Then pour the rest on top.
After finishing I put syrup. I told my roommate to try some and he loved it.
My god people if u think flipping an omelette is difficult, good luck with life, lol. Girls these days..what are they good for if they cant cook an egg.
ill be lazy and get the omlet pan. no flip necessary.
