Beat Project remixes Kier Bates!

Yes, that's right!
I have remixed Kier Bates' "Red Shift" - a great ambient trance piece and given it a club twist.

Kier Bates - Red Shift (Beat Project Remix)

There's only the 192kbit mp3 available at the moment - I really don't think I should drop the quality any more than that.

However, the 128kbit and streaming versions will also be available at Beat Project's JavaMusic site in a couple days time...

Its a pretty neat tune, not the kinda stuff i usually listen to, but very nice and relaxing and a nice melody..

Good percussion and bass line too

Kinda mellow track. A bit distorted sound though, especially when the crash cymbal hits (or is it my system). Anyway you have done a good work with hihats/percussions, melodies are average level but okay. One thing I definitely would change is the piano starting about 2.30, it bothers me a bit because melody is occasionally out of tune.

Well there's still some work to do, next time try to focus more on soundquality (mastering) but it's fine if this was your first Reason tune .

Kool...altho, i wouldnt say its that trancey...maybe more progresive or chillout...

It needs a big lead to be my kinda trance
