Idea Dark EDM with background female vocals

I'm looking for some darker EDM with female vocals in the background... it's sometimes not more than a whispering but it sounds damn hot imho

Skai - Mir Geht's Gut (Found on Sander Kleinenberg's "This is Everybody Too")
Bernard Leon Howard III - Marscarter (Found on Satoshi Tomiie's "GU Nubreed: 006)

I'll post more when I remember

Can anyone ID tracks #1 and #2?

Posted by darkdoze on Nov-07-2007 20:42:

I would suggest:

Spooky - New Light (Spooky's Strobelight Mix)
Spooky - No Return (Spooky's Club Mix)

You can listen to both on Beatport.

check out Arc In The Sky - Kissed

both have a female vocal, the original is a techtrance breaks track, and the Narthexx Remix is a banging techtrance track

#1: SWAIN, SNELL & LUCAS - We Need Space

#2: SUN DECADE - Have it all (Thomas Penton dub)

Thanks for the suggestions, guys! I'll look them up tomorrow

Holden & Thompson - Nothing and their other colab.... Come To Me is nice as well!

John Creamer and Stephane K - I Love You (Hybrid Mix)

maybe i've recommended it to you in the past, but
boomp3.com
Signum v Soldout - Timelord Tomorrow (Jose Amnesia Bootleg)
as dark as they come from trance. Not many lyrics, but they repeat throughout the song enough

Oh yeah, Come to Me is twisted. I think I like it better than Nothing because Nothing got played to death for me.

Let's see, Li Kwan-Point Zero
Leama and Moor-Shades of Red (Although it may not be "dark" enough for your liking)
Juno Reactor-Nitrogen Part 1 (Chanting doesn't come til near the end, but that ending still has quite an effect on me)
Casa Flava-De Moma De (Paris and Sharp Remix)
Moby-In this World (Slacker's Rain Before Carnival Mix)
Tilt f. Maria Nayler-Headstrong (Tilt's Relentless Vocal Mix)

Hmm...I wonder if there's any other tracks with Maria Nayler's voice.

I didn't listen to any of your samples (already got tunes playing) so I could be way off on what you're looking for, but one of my all time favourite 'dark' tracks with a female vocal would have to be Massive Attack - Group Four.

Elizabeth Fraser's vocals are absolutely amazing

What about the club mixes of Belong and Strange Addiction.

vildtand - 25 timer

hot as fuck

Give SBK - Borderline a try if you want it dark with fucked up vocals

Posted by Lunar Phase 7 on Nov-08-2007 12:49:

Christian Hornbostel - Into Your Mind (Moshic Remix)

"Do you want me to kill him for you?"

"Yeah, would you?"

"Do you want me to kill him for you?"

"Yeah."

Seriously sick grooves and twisted vocals.

Patient Saints - Perpetuem Mobila
One of my absolute favourites - good luck finding it though. You can hear it on Oakenfolds 'Great Wall' CD Due to his abhorrently short mixing you could probably DJ with that version as well!

+1

Thanks for the other suggestions, too

Quivver & Blackwatch - Loveless
Li'sha - That's Why I'm Here (Lexicon Ave. Mix)
John Creamer and Stephane K - I Wish You Were Here (Lexicon Ave. Mix)

And a whole ton of tracks that Moshic spins.
