Experts

Don't you just hate when the phrase 'experts' is used in some stupid study or survey...some examples:

"Experts reveal that it is not the fault of the person who is obese, but rather the government".

"In a study, experts have stated that eating bacon can lead to cancer".

"Experts report that drinking excess alcohol can damage your health".

Let's put an end to these 'experts' being trotted out, most of these university space-wasters aren't even experts at being alive yet...

"RickyM is an expert who has brought us this Cor Post."

Only somebody who isn't particularly good at any one thing could rationalize the necessity of that post.

"A panel of experts has determined that experts are experts."

stfu you cry baby...

But won't the true experts feel slighted by this move?

you obviously haven't spent enough time in the general company of relative experts. what WOULD you call people who spend at least a 1/3 of their life conducting research, experimentation and study?

when you go to the hospital, would you prefer to be operated on by the surgeon or the cleaner?

Depends on how fit the cleaner is

And I'm talking about experts being trotted out to state the obvious...and I doubt half these tossers have spent 1/3 of their lives studying, most of them are still arsing around at university and blowing their student loan...

i dunno, i have a friend or two that does research and i have a lot of respect for them. but yeah, a lot of studies are bollocks.
