Website help

Hello all.. i have an idea for a website. Its pretty simple and would be a money making ::crossing fingers:: site for me. I have never done a web page before and am wondering just how hard is it. It wont be anything extravagant just simple and to the point. I would need graphics to link to other sites and stuff. My point here is just to as if someone like me who has no clue on how to build a web page could I do it or would i be better off to hire a designer?

if you don't have any experience with web site design/coding, you'd probably be better off hiring someone to do it for you... especially if you're trying to make money off it.

So basically you want to make money and you want someone else to do all the work for you?

at least he said he'd "hire" a designer, which i assume means he'll pay them for all their hard work that he is incapable of.

i would hire someone. I just didnt know if i could do it alone with no knowledge of it. My plan is to make it a very simple design but right now im just in the beginning phase of planning with my potential business partner and we are trying to decide if this is worth it.

your idea is probably a scam
you don't have the technical knowledge to be doing it
it will fail

its not a scam its something to do with the car industry as far as sales go cuz its what i do and i was watching the big idea on msnbc or cnn what ever station its on and this idea hit me and im just getting an idea of what its going to take to make it happen.
