DJ DAN!!!! Is he still on the Electro House bandwagon?
I'll try to make it, but I have a gig the next day in NC...
*Flyer Updated*
I haven't really heard much about him but I'm gonna be in town and probably nothing to do after family dinner so why not. What kind of stuff has he been spinning lately? Someone mentioned electro house which sounds excellent...

Alright, I eagerly wait the report....Hit me with it!!
I didn't go and I'll tell you why -- I have received over 30 (yep 30) pieces of spam mail between from who ever the fuck this Evoke person is. (See bottom-right corner of flyer.) I can't get away from it -- it's all over my inbox, facebook, and I even got a text message from some number I don't recognize about this event. This Evoke person has set up all sorts of facebook and email aliases, so you get tons of messages from the same fucking person.
If you want people to come to your events, the way to do it is not by annoying the piss out of them.
Liquified has a good approach with sending just a few emails about it - one to let you know about the event and another when the event draws near to remind you of it. This person should learn from one of the few promoters who has lasted more than a year in this city.
did anyone go?
