What is that "water" based instrument in some song?

I kinda really like that "water" based sound (thats how I call it) I hear in some tracks. I was asking myself if you guys know any other tracks with that "instrument".
Here is the best example of song containing that sound:
Astral projection - Aqua Line Spirit (at the beginning mainly)

I hope you understand what I mean.
thanks

Will listen to that song and see what your on about in a minute. Sounds like a slightly altered air pad to make it sound waterey. If you wanna know how to get that sound ask in production studio.

Awesome song btw... very newschool goa sound. Infact I would say that album is the album where AP sounds most like anyone else.

If your looking for a really good newschool goa mix check this out.
[Edit] Wow this sounds incredibly new school goa even a key change

Not sure about that sound in paricular but
Pleiadians-Alcyone has a very waterey feel to it... particuly the baseline and a lot of newschool goa tracks have very similar production sounds.

the coolest "water" effects can be found in Union Jack - Two Full Moons and a trout (Caspar Pound remix).
check them out !

A bit off topic...

Robert Miles - Children

The Piano is dripping Water.

The sound quality of the piano is insane, I think its the reverb mixed with the delay, and some eq boost at 1.5-3khz.
