Ask DJ 'Spud' O'Callaghan what happens when you drink too much of it...
Some ciders are okay... Have tasted some of them but don't really remember the exact brands so I'm gonna keep my mouth shut about them.
Girls seem to like it here in Finland though

Well all those light cider shit that have almost no alcohol in them at all are the popular ones here in Finland. All the teenage girls here drink one fucking 0.5 litre bottle of some of that juice... uh, "cider, and are SO FUCKING WASTED after only that. Then they go all crazy and "forget" everything in the morning and complain about a non existent (right word there?) headache.
Well maybe they have a headache from their own stupidity, that's always possible.
Will probably order a cider of some kind in some bar tomorrow night, just to get to know it better.
hm
i've never actually hard cider
i think i'ma run to the liquor store
Ask for a Snakebite.
Half Cider, Half Larger.
If the cider is strong enough I promise you that you will only need 2 or 3 pints of that and your night will be done.
I love cider. Here in the good ole US, most cider is nonalcoholic
Took some digging up, but it's priceless...
O'Calla's Cider Accident
I'm somewhat addicted to strongbow - whenever I go to an irish pub that has it I have to order

| Originally posted by Jackson Strongbow is very very...very common over here. Generally if you were to ask for a Cider, you'd get strongbow. Its ok, bit weak though...but i guess its because its nothing special over here. |

I can't stomach it.
This, on the other hand is alright:

Cider here is 4.7% tops.
I enjoy Pear and Forest Berries once in a while, if I want to mix up a bit.
Not really so much a girls drink as the VK/Vikingfjord/Smirnoff Ice stuff though.
French cider is soooo good. Miss it a lot..
The cider in Sweden should not even be called cider..it sucks
edit: typo
isn't cider just another word for juice?
although i like hot apple cider in the winter time. at least, in the cold winters up north...don't really need "hot" drinks down here. meh.
Cider was the drink of choice in the USA until the German immigrants introduced beer to the American palate and took over.
I've made my own cider every year on my kitchen counter. Fall fairs are a haven for non-pasteurized (hot or cold) and preservative free fresh pressed apple cider. It's really simple to make, 1-2 months and it's ready. I use yeast and sugars nowadays, but when I got started, it was as simple as leaving the jug on the counter and placing a balloon over the top (vapour seal) decanting over a coffee filter and bottling it. Alcohol was about the same as light beer, but get a lot stronger when you add yeast and sugar. Lots of good home cider making sites out there now.
Yes, specially in the New Year's Eve.
