Tiesto worked with Ronald van Gelderan (aka: Kid Vicious) when he produced Urban Train, and he is listed in the credits in his album. Kid Vicious made the song "Re-Form" and Tiesto remixed it as well. Both songs have a similar melody but there was no ripping off of anybody.

Lethal Industry is actually an old song from the early nineties I believe. Armin van Buuren played it in a recent radio show, I think the title was "Lethal Suicide".

I hope this clears things up.

tiesto's mix of reform sounds more similar to his remix of flesh. but lethal industry is a blatent rip off of lethal suicide, and armin quite rightly took the piss on state of trance one time

Um, guyz, isn't that called "sampling", or sometimes "Covering"

the bad thing is that he stole a shitty melody and made a shitty song.

actually the synergy is called lethal suicide. the original record was suicide EP so i assume the original track is called "suicide"

oh well copying tracks is not a first. not only from tiesto. not only in trance. happens all the time in any form of music.

I believe Alec Empire had something to do with "Lethal Suicide."

Am I mistaken?

Smile

Everyone borrows on old songs and things. Only real rip-off artist is josh wink (coz he ripped off the bassline and melody of a Dan robbins song and also ripped off french kiss). But then again, ppl can believe what they want. I think lawyers are the ones that could get rich out of this, like avb suing mauro over like this like that.

Yeah, but its not worth the court or lawyer fees... it's not like avb makes a lot of money off his songs.
