new Fred Baker single "Sunshine EP" out on Nov 26th

� Fred Baker is back with his first release on PIAS Recordings announcing his debut album �Never Forget / Hollywood Fairytales� planned for February 2008.

� �Sunshine� is leading this EP with an epic trance track blended with a piano melody not unknown to Robert Miles� fans. Starting with a solid tech-trance rhythm featuring a high tone and a slowly rising synth melody, it leads to an uplifting break where the piano starts. Then comes the climax�again and again !

� The B sides features �Gregoria� (a powerful track with ethereal vocals and a techouse beat� The �Oldschool� style revisited by Fred Baker) and �Alone� (a trancy track with a twist of techno creating an energetic tune� For the trance lovers and the Screen series fans).

Just listened to this and it sounds rather bland.

I do see a few similarities between the track "Alone" and the old Screen-guises; but it's way too uplifting now. I wish Fred put out another track in the old Screen style... Such beauties

C'mon Fred; show us you don't need Mr Sam anymore to produce stuff like that

He had a string of hits around '04 that I really liked. "Confirmation" and his remix if "All of Us" were great.

Is he mad? Why would he release a track with the melody from Robert Miles - Children in it and call it Sunshine? Are people getting that lazy that they can't create their own melodies? Horrible track

I'm a big fan of his Active Sight guise together with co-producer M.I.K.E.

I think he is either a hit or miss. Mostly his techy productions are pretty bland.

However, I absolutely love 'Beautiful Sunshine'
'All of Us' and 'Forever Friends' are pretty good

I like Fred Baker a lot. Didn't he remix the Brisky track. And w/ Mr. Sam presents As One. - Forever Waiting.
