Can anyone recommend me some new proper prog house?
Hello!
I have a bit of struggle to find any new good proper quality prog house tunes.
The only ones i have really enjoyed so far is all of Jody Wisternoffs solo releases and remixes.
Like Starstrings, Cold drink hot girl, Nostalgia etc.
Could anyone recommend me some good new prog house tracks or any good sources like some new sets or mixes?
underworld - crocodile
swayzak - smile & receive (apparat remix)
guy j - save me
ben brown - love and solace (original) / (16 bit lolitas remix)
16 bit lolitas - home made rolls
adam freeland - silverlake pills (gui boratto remix)
ohmna - i'm lost
john digweed - gridlock
sasha - coma
three drives - greece 2000 (muskat nuss remix)
ray & peter - spacesuit

superpitcher - rainy nights in georgia

All this may not fit in exactly with your idea of "prog house".

the term progressive has always confused me a bit lol i never seem to get what makes a song progressive.
but i do like Tim Davison's Rmx of hey boy, hey girl by the Chemical Brothers. Dunno if thats what ur looking for though.

You could check out some Eelke Kleijn - I've been impressed by a lot of his work recently. Still need to buy his album, though...
Yes, Eelke Kleijn's album is pretty good. It's worth every penny you spend on it

is it just me or do all the supposed "prog house" tracks released these days sound nothing more than electro/tech house tunes with farting basslines? At least the "prog house" on Beatport certainly sound this way. anyway, prog house has pretty much been dead since 2002-2003...gone were the days of tarrentella/redanka, quivver, luke chable, bedrock, lemon 8, scumfrog, humate, etc
Graham & Blades - Argie Bargie (Nice pick n0bben
)
Adam Freeland - Silverlake Pills (Gui Boratto Remix)
Marc Marzenit - Speere
Sweet N Candy - There!
Paul Keeley - Sunset Boulevard
Ben Brown - Love and Solace (16 Bit Lolitas Remix)
King Unique - Yohkoh
John Digweed - Gridlock
Chris Nemmo and Andree Eskay - Affectation (Dousk Dub Electro)
Guy Gerber, Shlomi Aber - After Love (Original Mix)
Guy J - Night Loss
Hybrid - Finished Symphony (Deadmau5 Remix)
Jay Lumen - High Intensity (Original Mix)
Jay Lumen - High Intensity (Original Club Mix)
Jay Lumen - Manna
I'll think of some more later...
