Arrow Can anyone recommend me some new proper prog house?

Hello!

I have a bit of struggle to find any new good proper quality prog house tunes.

The only ones i have really enjoyed so far is all of Jody Wisternoffs solo releases and remixes.

Like Starstrings, Cold drink hot girl, Nostalgia etc.

Could anyone recommend me some good new prog house tracks or any good sources like some new sets or mixes?

All this may not fit in exactly with your idea of "prog house".

Night Loss is better, IMO

You could check out some Eelke Kleijn - I've been impressed by a lot of his work recently. Still need to buy his album, though...

Yes, Eelke Kleijn's album is pretty good. It's worth every penny you spend on it .

Its not a certian sound that make something prog.. it's the elements, the construction, atmosphere.

There are tons of electro house tracks that don't GO ANYWHERE!

my theory.

is it just me or do all the supposed "prog house" tracks released these days sound nothing more than electro/tech house tunes with farting basslines? At least the "prog house" on Beatport certainly sound this way. anyway, prog house has pretty much been dead since 2002-2003...gone were the days of tarrentella/redanka, quivver, luke chable, bedrock, lemon 8, scumfrog, humate, etc

Yeah, sadly.

I miss sleepfreaks and paul rogers. Man every track they made was superb.

Check out the atmospherics of this monster:

It's so deep and warm, but you know in a club it would sound fucking huge.

It's beautiful music, and I miss this sound terribly.

I agree.

Also, anything by the 16 bit lolitas. Literally, anything. I can't believe these guys make quality tunes every other week it seems.
