Way to go Sunny.
I live in the wonderful state of Georgia where I am sure many of you know is suffering from a drought. It made national news yesterday when our wonderful governor decided to hold a prayer session at the capitol to pray for water.
When in the hell did the tax payers of this state elect Sunny so he could pray? Why doesn't he take action? Why didn't he take action a while ago? Let the religious leader of the state take care of the prayer and start coming up with some kind of real plan to correct this problem before we all end up without any water at all.
let us pray some more

When are people going to smarten up? It's the rain dance that brings the rain..HELLO!

It is the responsibility of government officials who represent the people, to leave their personal religious views at home before reporting to work. Instead of wasting his time in praying, he might as well have co-ordinated some more relief efforts. If he thinks he's done everything in his capacity to help the situation, then he needs to quit. NOW. |
I put on the shower water while I'm taking a shit, sry

| "Oh father, we acknowledge our wastefulness," Perdue said. "But we're doing better. And I thought it was time to acknowledge that to the creator, the provider of water and land, and to tell him that we will do better." Hundreds of Georgians -- ministers and lawmakers, landscapers and office workers -- gathered in downtown Atlanta for the prayer vigil. Some held bibles and crucifixes. Many swayed and linked arms as a choir sang "What a Mighty God We Serve" and "Amazing Grace." |
I'm sorry, if your state voted for Bush (which I think GA did), the people of your state are considered by most of us to be 1)uneducated and 2)Christian, in which case praying for rain probably will get you reelected.
