Song of the year nominations

Right guys you have 1 week untill the poll commences.

Don't forget you can only nominate 1 track.

Mine is...

Aquanuts - Deep Sea (Martin Eyerer Remix)

Posted by ExOn on Apr-28-2002 22:25:

Isn't that song from 2001?

Posted by mos man on Apr-28-2002 22:34:

Evil1

Grrrrrr i dont know but as long as its not MEGA old then it doesn't matter, and why haven't you nominated a track

Posted by ExOn on Apr-28-2002 22:46:

I will! Calm down!

I will nominate Iio - Rapture (Riva Remix) because of it's great staying power on the charts and the great moving power on the dancefloors.

Push - Tranzy state of mind (club mix)

I can't stand that remix...

the only remix of that track I find listenable is the one that astrid plays on id&t radio a little while ago...

shouldn't this 'song of the year stuff' start towards the end of 2002?

And you're criticizing people for listing 2001 songs?

Anyways, my choice is

Solid Sessions - Janeiro (Armin van Buuren Remix)

Svenson & Gielen-We know what you did

The only song that I've heard that I cannot get out of my head and will definitely be the biggest hit played this summer:

Human Evolution - Human Evolution (Club Mix)

There are some other great songs out there, but nothing comes even close to this awesome track. I can't wait till' it comes out on vinyl.

Posted by b0bb0 on Apr-29-2002 04:08:

Ok ill post up Empire-Second Sun..

Some people like it, others dont. But i sure as hell do!

The buildup is amazing and i've even seen pvd spin it, which makes it that bit better.

I think PvD's mix of Suzanne is not a good track

(j/k we all have our own tastes, hehe)

Who the hell starts a track of the year in the first half of the year? Jeez

So far its Tranzy State of Mind (Club mix) or Signum - Second Wave, but that could easily change, seeing as we're not half way through the year yet

Posted by TranceGiant on Apr-29-2002 19:15:

*looks at calender*

april 29th

*thinks: some 8 months to go till end of the year*

conclusion: discussion about best track of the year TODAY is pointless

i agree

and if you're talking about 2001... i think it was done already

Posted by Electric_Hybrid on Apr-29-2002 19:56:

So far I would have to say Signum - Second Wave. But that may very well change as long as Tiesto doesn't die and continues to put new shit out.

Your entitled to your own opinion.

Which also entitles you to be wrong
