I actually do quite a bit of rock climbing in the summer. Never really tried any mountains. Mainly, i stick to sport climbing with bolted routes. I have some trad but i just have more fun doin short bolted routes. I am from Montana and i go back there in the summers so the majority of the crags i frequent are there but i have climbed exit 38 and i like to go boulder at Merimoore in Redmond.

hey me too, Little Mt si is great and if you wanna drive a bit Leavenworth (sp?) that crazy German town has sweet routes. UW has a fun rock if you live near it just for bouldering and I like to boulder there more than Merrymore because its more oriented for it.

ya I used to be pretty good rock climber, I used to race like 5.10c's at vertical world, that was pretty sweet.. but I have not done much since then. oh I guess I did win a rock climbing competition @ REI a couple months back, BIG REWARDS!

I got a new Half dome plus 2, and a petzl headlamp, all for 10$ entering fee!

I really didn't start climbing seriouly till a couple of years ago so 5.11b or c is about my max. I have found the ratings are easier over here than they are back home and the climbing a little more conducive to lower rated routes. 5.10 c or d is my max back home but over here i can hit 5.11's. I am working on getting better but it is hard during school.

hardest Ive done indoors is 5.14a
hardest Ive done outdoors is 5.12d
Leading on both

crap dude, thats good

ya I've done 5.11's, I dont think 5.12 - maybe one or two, and especially not 5.14's I was pretty young when I was really into it all. Now I focus on the big mountains instead of rock.. much prettier imo
