Donald Glaude-----[opinions]
i'm sure you've heard of him.....what are your opinions on Donald? Apparently he is one of the most popular dj's in the world as well (according to that top 100 dj's list
)
he frequently spins at Seattle raves, but not really sure what kind of electronica he exactly spins....
anyways, if you know who i'm talking about, and have seen him live, post your opinions about Donald.

Glaude ROCKS
He spins mostly house and he does an AMAZING job. I saw him around the beginning of this year @ Teknoklub in LA and every1 was on their feet dancing and having a Fugging gooooood time. He rocked the rave! Mad props. 
I've never seen him live, but I've heard a cd opf his, and some productions, and I cant say I'm impressed. but nonetheless, I still should give him a chance and see him live some time
Donald is awesome! He plays a mix of Acid House, Funkyhouse techno. He has lots of skill. I saw him last weekend. Dood, this guy is so into the crowd!! Like a lot!!! And he was mixing the records with his teeth, and scrathin behind his back with out even lookin at the tables!! I got to talk to him for like 1 minute too! He's awesome DJ, and I recommend seeing him!
i think its pretty safe to say that all of seattle is sick of donald glaude tho (or at least isnt thrilled to see his name on a flier) since he literally spins every weekend here at like two parties (or a club)... there basically isnt ever a party where he ISNT spinning

i think hes a good dj, i just am sick of him being on the flier of every party in town. and because he is, doesnt make me excited to see him, ever

he is good. but like many things , you can only take so much. I don't really like the the tracks he produces. i heard "da bomb" and thought it was quite bad.
i saw him down here a couple of times and i can't say that he's a bad dj cuz he got the crowd worked up but he really isn't my cup of tea. he is a really nice guy though.

Seen him live about 6 times. Hes just your very good average house dj that rocks the crowd. Not someone to be hyped about, but he's pretty good for a dj. I'm not into that type of house, but if you are into the carl cox and dj dan style of stuff, then he is a good dj to see.
Donald Glaude is dope if u don't like house and if u listen to Donald he'll make u like house LOL he's good DJ more of an act i say because he really hypes the crowd alot.
Donald Glaude's LIVE sets are awesome! Although I've never been impressed with any of his productions nor his mix CDs. I've probably seen him 6-7 times in the last couple of years and he has always put on a good show, really knows how to pump up the crowd IMO, and after all isn't that what all good DJ's do?
We probably get just the right amount of Glaude down here in the bay area, he's always around but not enough for me to get sick of him.
Donald is one of my favorite DJ's, but I do think that he is really unpredictable. Did you know that DJ Dan and Donald originally started spinning in Olympia, WA? I guess Donald's from TAC, and Dan was going to school in Oly. I don't think anyone's going to believe that, the only reason I believe it is because my friend who is the biggest DJ Dan fan ever told me.
Anyways, I think that Donald tours a whole lot, and takes a fair amount of yayo. Therefore, he can be really on point, and he can really suck. I see were sothis is coming from, cause he does play at a lot of parties, however, I am really proud of Donald, cause he has totally made it. I think he's a pretty damn good ambassador for us, people definately seem to like him. I personnally love his blend of house and funky techno.

yeah his cd's are not that impressive and neither are his productions but damn could that mother****** put on a show!!!...if u want to see him put on a really good show go see him at a club that holds no more that 1500 people...man will u get a show!!...he just fuckn rips up the table when he scratches and just the faces he puts on when scratchin its hilarious...
