why do chicks always sleep on the left

..side of the bed?

I mean, whenever they reach the bed first, they choose the LEFT SIDE!!

I noticed that most couples have this arrangement too

or maybe my bed stinks on the right side?


Anyone encountered this strange phenomena??


Edit: OK so pregnant women HAVE to sleep on their left side for health reasons. I guess that answers the question.

Now the question is..

I never noticed that but I sleep on the left!!!

I thought of the bedrooms and in almost everyone I know's room, the bed is situated so the left side is also the outside, aka the right side is against the wall. I sleep on the right side in my bed, but because thats the free side. I think people just like the outside more.

women tend to sleep on whichever side is closest to the door.

Mrs. Hazard has some deep seeded need to sleep on the side of the bed that's furthest from the window and closest to the door. While on vacation last week we had one hotel room in which the door and the window were on the same wall... she had some difficulty choosing which side of the bed to take.

depending, she also sleeps on the side that's closest to the wall? that way she won't fall off the bed i suppose.

its some weird instinct that they have....so if there is something wrong w/ their baby in a different room, they can rush off the bed in a heartbeat and be out.

this solves the problem of having to either
1) run around the bed; or
2) climb over the man, and then yell at him later for being in the way.

what's funny is that men don't sleep on that side, so they can "protect" the woman, should an intruder come through the door.

im confuzzled.

They lay on the left because the bed bugs bite on the right

so when their father opesn the door on us they make the distractino and you quickly go for the window on the right hand side.. gracefully of course
