In case that doesn't work for you, try ICDSoft. I've been using them for a few years. They're a tad on the pricey side, but they have good service and support.

I use Dreamhost. I would thoroughly recommend them, I've never had a single problem with anything.

And they keep adding to it, the longer you host with them. I joined up in March this year, on the 'My Crazy Domain Insane' plan, and since then they have added a total of 784 GB of bandwidth.

I also used a coupon code when I signed up, giving me 2 years of hosting for just over $50 USD in total

I use site5.com - $7/month for 1TB space and 3TB transfer. Pretty friggin sweet. Tho as expected, it's linux based and support aint' the quickest bunch to respond. for the price, probably best deal around thus far. just switched about a month ago.

whatever u do, don't use WEB HOSTING BUZZ - what a sh1thole!

Overselling to the point of stupidity. I guarantee you that the minute you approach anywhere near 1TB of disk usage or 500+GB of transfer that they'll shut you down based on some obscure line in their terms of service. From HostMonster to others - you don't have to go far to find posts about customers who are upset for not getting what was advertised. Sadly, the cut-throat competitive nature of web hosting has come to this level.

If any place supplied that much for that price then I assure you many sites that eat up terabytes of bandwidth a day would instead choose to pay $210 a month and have a different account for each day.

I cannot, cannot, cannot say enough good things about Dreamhost. Cannot. I've been with them for five years now and the experience has been nothing but positive. I started out with their second-tier plan at $20/month. After about two years they had a special, where we could upgrade one plan above ours and continue to pay the price we were paying now. It's at the point where I have 537.8GB of disk space (which increases by 2GB/week) and 10.6TB of bandwidth (which increases by 40GB/week).

Their downtime is little, if ever. They constantly provide free upgrades and random large additions to disk space and bandwidth, and they're excellent about notifying you of any upcoming maintenance downtime or whathaveyou.

Dreamhost, Dreamhost, Dreamhost!

Not as much I used to. That crazy USD. I'm starting to wonder if it's really worth it.

Any chance you could pay in Canadian dollars?

Posted by idoru on Nov-22-2007 10:21:

I have a Canadian $20 bill leftover from my last foray into Canada-Land, will that do? I'm excruciatingly horny right now.
