wal-mart

i dont like the company as it is, but im watching this thing on CNBC called "Age of Wal-Mart", which basically is talking about the effects wal-mart has had on the economy and the business world.

they also are chronicling the path a couple who wants to sell their product at walmart goes through. the company signed up for their product but has stalled saying that they need "one more signature" before they can order the product. the couple, in anticipation for a large order, moved money around and may have to sell their house because of walmarts stalworting. ugh i hate the company even more!

i hate the place. its a giant homeless shelter. and its quite easy to see that when you walk in.

and i dont care if it would save me money. id rather inject money elsewhere. not into some company that bankrupts all the small business's around.

For someone like me who has extremely low amounts of money, Wal-Mart rocks. Of course, if you can afford to shop elsewhere, I can see why you might not like it.

im not saying that some people arent basically forced to shop there due to extenuating circumstances, but given the choice i wouldnt shop there.

I like to buy my toiletries and such at Wal-mart.

Posted by LeopoldStotch on Nov-24-2007 06:10:

i go shopping all over the place, and that includes wal-mart and target. the only times i do go to wal-mart and target are to buy the small stuff, like toilet paper, ajax, soap, etc ... i don't buy food or electronic stuff from there, and if i do buy clothing, it's either some plain white tees or socks.
