You have WAY too much time on your hands, sir.

Not saying I don't love reading your reviews though

Have to say it: are you KIDDING me man? Like really? I bet i have less "free time" than most. VP of a company, family man, writing, graphic design, fine artist, writer, schmoozer, hand drumming, snowboarding etc etc etc on and on. Give me a f*cking break. Too much time on my hands? No man, I MAKE time for the things that are important to me. Recording these experiences so i can look back in 20+ years--and giving back to the scene that has given me so much--that's why i do this. I'm returning just a fraction of what the scene (DJs and their music, most importantly)gives to me. Maybe I should go mix in my bedroom and post some crappy POS mix online to show my appreciation, like every other beginner wannabe? (btw, no disrespect to the bedroom DJs, for real, that's where it all starts (DJ Reerun, Joel, DJ Sketchbag (love the Dec mix!!!), et al)--but that's not where my talents or my strengths lie).

Not to mention, I get to practice writing, graphic design (tracing, cutting, blending effects), layout, etc--all skills that I need and want to practice on a daily level.

Thanks for the props man, but get on my level. Happy to have you "up" here with me, if you wanna be part of it.

Cheers, and thanks for reading,
Sheld

why dont you just make your own review site, since people on these forums are clearly not on the same level as you

Writing and a writer? How do you fit all that in there with schmoozing, hand drumming and snowboarding? I find the best thing to do is take care of my hand drumming while I'm taking my morning shit. How DO you make the time? My hat is off to you sir.

By me saying you have too much time on your hands means it looks like there was a tonne of effort put into your review. I was in no one bringing you down for spending on time on something like that. If anyone has too much time on his hands.. it's me. When I'm not working I'm usually on the computer or watching a movie unless my girlfriend is in town. Hell.. my PvD roll call has kept me busy for the last week.

Cool man--it's all good. Those roll calls are tonnes of work from what I've observed. Enjoy PvD tonight!
