Hitman review. (trying to keep spoilers out)
I wish they got a better actor for the lead. Russian girl was fine as hell - she gets naked... more than once. In fact the whole prominence of Russia in the movie really made me happy but once again we're portrayed as corrupt etc.
In review - not much of a plotline but a lot of good action scenes and badass stunts. If you want your lady friend to hate you - take her to see this.
I havent seen it yet, i heard the plot sucked too but the action was good. The main guy looks homo. I guess it's the pimp from The Girl Next Door. I wish Jason Statham played the part.
I might see it.
i thought the casting of 47 was a good choice, but the writing for him was what made it shitty. getting the guy from prison break to play a russian was dumb tho....
it pissed me off that none of the russian guys could speak russian.
also - fucking helicopter shooting up a church. give me a break.

i was quite aware they'd fuck this up as soon as it was announced. but i guess i'll see it regardless.
and when are we gonna see some movies that portray Russia correctly? i don't know shit about Russia other than they drink a lot of vodka, have fine ass women and do sambo.
i'd like to see a sambo movie.

I never played the game, so if he dies in the game he has to die in the movie, right?
But if he completes the mission and stays alive in the game, then he survives in the movie, right?
It's kind of like that movie Crank, with Jason Stra-whatver his name is

| Sambo (martial art) From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Sambo (Russian: (самбо) -- (also called Sombo in the US and sometimes written in all-caps) is a modern martial art, combat sport and self-defense system developed in the former Soviet Union, and recognized as an official sport by the USSR All-Union Sports Committee in 1938, presented by Anatoly Kharlampiev. The word Sambo is an acronym of САМозащита Без Оружия (SAMozashchita Bez Oruzhiya) meaning "self-defense without a weapon" in Russian. In 1980, Sambo was a demonstration sport at the Olympic Games in Moscow, Russia. However, due to boycotts, it failed to bring sufficient numbers for continued inclusion as a participatory game. The founders of Sambo deliberately sifted through all of the worlds martial arts available to them to augment their militarys hand-to-hand combat system. One of these men, Vasili Oschepkov, taught judo and karate to elite Red Army forces at the Central Red Army House. He had earned his nidan (second degree black belt out of then five) from judos founder, Kano Jigoro, and used some of Kano's philosophy in formulating the early development of the new Russian art. |
I think this was going to be about a hitman you hired, and a review of how good were his services. I'm disappointed.
