Scariest movie of 2007?
I'm a great fan of horror and scary movies. Not the cheesy kinds with yor tradictional elusive boogeyman but the ones that send chills running down your spine like The Grudge.
I know its old but I nominate The Descent as the scariest movie of '07 since it just came out on DVD recently in the US.

I'm too scared to watch that. seriously.
I found 28 weeks later quite scary, mainly because after seeing it, when I was trying to go to sleep, I closed my eyes and kept having a vision of an infected running up the stairs outside my room and coming in to kill me 
Repent the end is fucking nigh
i just saw that movie for the first time less than a week ago. even in the confines of my own home there were scenes in that movie that made me jump. like when the infected just randomly appear right in front of an unsuspecting victim. like in the beginning of the movie when that chick gets grabbed by an infected that just punches right through the wall and grabs her. I jumped outta my skin.
gotta say i'm starting to grow quite fond of British films lately.
30 Days of Night, I really dug this movie, reminded me a lot of the old independent film 'Near Dark' (highly underrated movie btw)
wow. the descent sucked so much balls its not funny. about as scary as a game of cricket.

I love scary movies but honestly nothing scares me anymore......I love movies like saw and Mind Hunters where you dont know how the person gona get killed and usually till the end you dont know what going and whose doing all the killing.....But ya nothing really scares me anymore.
forgot if mindhunters was any good but i think i did see it or i meant to but forgot anyhow...
as for Saw. too much unfolds at the very end as far as i remember. They try to keep the suspense going for too long and it actually took for the main character to have to explain the entire plot or evil scheme if you will so that the movie makes any sense.
straight pooped all over it. isn't scary though, just "sick and twisted" . thats a whole different ballpark. Hostel takes the cake.
Dood Mind Hunters is my fav movie of all times see the trailer maybe it might remind you :-
murder movies dont really scare me, because i know its just a human dude and he can get his ass kicked like any other. alien and supernatural movies scare the tits out of me though. i mean, wtf are you gonna do when you wake up in a tent at night hearing evil laughing children and screaming noises?

wierd. i watch too many movies. for some reason Mindhunters didn't click. the trailer was what i needed. that was a good movie though. a couple of frightening scenes. i remeber jumpin a couple times but not fresh enough in my memory to recall the exact scenes.
dood. that sux you don't get scared anymore. i find that when i'm not paying attention like if i'm distracted by smoking a cigarette or something that i get hella freaked out if something scary happens and i just happen to catch it. if you're thinking about something else or just really relaxed and INTO the movie it helps.

whats the name of the movie with the aliens. theres that one scene where one of the characters suddenly gets sucked into the sky real fast by a UFO or something. Bad ass movie and i can't remember the name of it. came out in like 2004???
