For some reason I never got into this game. Maybe I'll try now. I frickin LOVED Scarface tho. I know the model is the same between the two, but I didn't care for random storylines. Being Tony Montana is a whole different ball game, though!

how couldn't you get into gta?

Its one of my favorite games of all time!

GTA and Scarface are about the only two games I play anymore. Scarface was bad ass for sure, I liked how you can have someone bring you a car or boat no matter where you are. Beats the fuck out of going back to a garage somewhere.

gta IV is one of the reasons why i'm going to buy the ps3 sometime next year, the series just keeps getting better and better that and grand turismo

My faviourite games of all time (even if it is clich�, I remember loving the first one and playing it on my gameboy colour all the time) are GTA games. I can't wait for this to come out.

I know, I know...when the series started in the late 90s I was too busy with Need for Speed and sports games (FIFA). That's ALL I played, day in, day out. When I got my PS2, I just went crazy with GT3 and continued with FIFA and started getting into Tekken. I remember thinking that GTA was so immature, just go around beating up prostitutes and shit; that I'd be more of a winnar being a 1337 sports car driver. I did try it once and steal a couple of cars and run over some people, and had my laugh, but that was it.

I have worshipped Tony Montana from day one, though, so when I had a chance to play HIM I was all over it. The way he talks and acts in the game was just awesome, so I totally got into the "beating up people on the street". I wish there was more nudity though

Excellent rationale! I don't have the PS3 yet but my reason for getting one is GT5.

Remember the OLD GTA though? With aerial view maps? So fun.

It'd be awesome if they set one of these games in a Canadian city...like that mod they have for Half Life.

eh. I find GTA to be rather mindless and simple.

Only good thing about it is that you get to indulge in a life of crime. and mindless violence
