Just got home from a Magda gig... probably an after party coming up... no words to describe her music, she simply raped everyone and everything...

One of the best nites of my life and I didn't even take a pill... lol what a set.

It's unfortunate that it seems as though at 3/4 of the shows she plays you automatically get a free Ritchie Hawtin.

haha, it seems when she opens for him though, she plays even more fire than usual. At least when I saw her, she owned hawtin hard. She is a damn cutie too, watching this tiny girl play such ridiculously monstrous records is quite fun...

When I saw them play together I would say Magda mopped the fucking floor with Hawtin - but then again, there hasn't been much Hawtin I've cared for since Plastikman, so meh, grain, salt, etc.

Thing is that I was expecting a good set but nothing like last nite, just unreal... ordered a bottle of vodka and then 2 hours into her set, I thought it was going to be a zzzzzz... way too much tech house, and around 3:30 she simply played the nastiest techno I've ever heard.

She played for some good 6 hours, but last 3-4 hours will be in my memory for the rest of my life. And what Clovis said, what a cutie and a great person as well... although her mixing isn't exactly as sharp as I would expect, her tracklisting was simply beyond this world. In the end, the club had to turn the lights on because there was no way she could finish her set... it was supposed to end at 6 and she played till 7 and she told us afterwards she could have easily played till noon lol...
