and other things...because i've been apart from my boyfriend for almost 4 months! we made the decision to stay together while i'm in france studying abroad and it's almost over. i'm SO excited to see him, but i was just curious if any of you have ever had to spend months apart from your significant other as well?

Hm, I think the most time I ever spent apart from Jimmy was the 2 weeks I went to Miami.
we had done a week apart before this but i asked my mom and she and my dad in 26 years of marriage have never been apart for more than a week. isn't that crazy?!
it's about how much u love the person. if it's not love, it won't last, cos the lust for sex will overcome the will. If it is, then anything is possible. My brother & his fiancee have seen each other for 2 weeks since last xmas andare doing just fine, but he's off again for 3 weeks this xmas, she's finishing her 7th year of uni and he's got to get work experience so he can get a good job in canada with a work permit. It's all down to how much you want the person in question.
my roomate and her boyfriend have been away for a week so far and he's gone for another 3 weeks... she's not having an easy time

well its been since august 25th for us. our 1 year anniversary was 5 days ago and we just got to talk on webcam for like 20 minutes. while it hasn't been easy, it's felt oddly...natural...like i wouldn't have it any way. i really love him and i haven't been tempted by other people i've met here. at the end of the day it's always him i want.
lol hopefully your at least doing what you can solo.
oh and never been on a real vacation yet (gonna be in toronto for a week very shortly! cant wait) and i'm currently single so i cant comment.
just a bunch of greasy euros over there anyways

used to have a long distance relationship, and would go for a few weeks sometimes a month without seeing each other but we definitely made up for it with phone sex lol
yeah i'm in toulouse. we've done phone sex a couple of times...and webcam sex too. but it's not the same
oh totally, nothing beats the real thing... but at least it keeps you "connected" in some funny way.
at least you will see him soon! that'll be great. 
4 months is long enough to get over the guilt of cheating.
